Working with Joseph in the jungle was a life changing experience. We spent a couple weeks deep in the jungle, tracking and monitoring the local chimps. Joseph gave us all the training we needed and support from some local villagers to guide us through yhe jungle. He even provided us excellent accommodation and the hospitality we received from the villagers was outstanding. It breaks my heart to know that the forest are continuously being cut down making it difficult for the chimps to thrive. I wish I had more time and resources to give to the project as they desperately need it. I’ve done many volunteer projects in the area of conservation and this was most definitely the best one in terms of hands on experience and learning new skills.
